Corps Writers International was founded in the winter of 2014 by William Careri with the help of Joseph Petruzzi, Jason Kazmierski, and Josh Chastain. Over the course of six months, the four developed and designed an outlet for Drum Corps news, multimedia, and more. 

In June of 2015, Corps Writers International released their website, social media accounts, and a broadcast of the Corps Writers disussing what they expect to see during the 2015 Summer Tour. 

Throughout the summer, the Corps Writers shared score recaps and breakdowns, videos, photos, interviews with corps members, and more. 

In 2017, Corps Writers will return for their third Drum Corps International Summer Tour and continue to bring it's audience coverage of everything drum corps.
