Josh Chastain is a proud supporter of the marching arts, taking free time as an up and coming drill writer, watching and supporting other bands/drum corps, and encouraging others to take part in the marching community. Although having no first hand drum corps experience, he wishes to learn Mellophone and join either Gold, Pacific Crest, or the Vanguard Cadets in the upcoming seasons. With the support from his friends and directors, he has worked to further his dream of becoming a band director himself in the future, while to minor into Clarinet performance with local ensembles, and start off a small drill writing productions website on the side. He hopes to encourage and inspire others what it means to have a passion of music, whether in the halls of symphonies, the floors of wgi, or the fields of marching band and drum corps.
