Kyle Jackier

Administrative Consultant

Kyle Jackier was born on December 27th, 1996 and lives in Blue Bell, PA. He began his musical career in 4th grade as a trombone player, which remains his primary instrument to this day. His love of marching began when he joined his high school marching band in eighth grade. He would march there through his senior year, including two years as drum major.

Kyle's introduction to drum corps was in 2011 when he attended the DCI Eastern Classic. He immediately loved it, but wrote it off as he was a trombone player. This would change in 2013 when a bycicling accident forced him to stop playing trombone and learn euphonium (left handed at first). He fell in love with the instrument and immediately looked to drum corps.

Once Kyle realized drum corps was a possibility for him he looked into the activity and became obsessed, auditioning at multiple drum corps a few months later. After life kept Kyle from following through on contracts with the 2014 Jersey Surf and 2015 Blue Stars, he is finally able to fulfil his dream of marching drum corps in the summer of 2016 with Jersey Surf on Euphonium.

Kyle is currently a Music Education major on trombone at West Chester University, has marched one season on trombone with the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band and is a Visual Tech at Wissahickon High School in Ambler PA.
