Madison, Wisconsin is a historical place for Drum Corps International and the show tonight did not disappoint as the Madison Scouts hosted seven other corps in competition. The Bluecoats emerged as the champion, sweeping every caption and earning a score of 75.70. The Blue Stars were the runners up tonight as they took 2nd in each caption. They earned a score of 68.80. The hometown heroes took 3rd place tonight as the Boys in Green scored a 66.50. Troopers are making strides as they continue to perform well. They took 4th place overall, but took 3rd in GE 2. They scored a 65.00. The Red Team continues to play mystery solver as they continue competition. They are staying right on the heels of the Troopers coming in 1.1 points behind tonight earning a score of 63.90. Pioneer continues their run and they rounded out competition in 6th with a 53.80. Racine Scouts competed in Open Class and the Kilties competed in the All-Age Division. Racine scored a 35.50 and Kilties scored a 41.70.
