Corps Writers International 2016

Hey Everyone!

I wanted to take this moment and tell you all what to look for this summer!

Corps Writers International has completely changed how we do things over the DCI off-season. I have spent countless hours discussing with the staff on how we can give you, our fans, the best DCI media coverage we can!

If you are new to Corps Writers and discovered us in the off season, you may not know how we did things in 2015. When we first launched Corps Writers International, we had planned to blog about every single DCI event in the 2015 season. This worked for about a month until we learned our articles were repetitive. This is when we switched things up a little. We decided to go for quality over quantity. Articles were being released once a week about major DCI events such as San Antonio, Atlanta, Allentown, and World Championships. We were able to put more of a focus on details. We continued to post scores every night from all the events and we continue to do that this season.

With our staff constantly growing, you can be sure to see a Corps Writers International staff member at events all throughout the 2016 Summer Tour including DCI West, DCI Southwestern Championships, DCI Southeastern Championships, DCI Eastern Classic, and Finals Week!

This season, this is what you can expect to see:

DCI scores being published every night on social media

Weekly recap articles detailing main events, huge news among corps, and noteworthy stories

Interviews with corps members from World and Open Class corps.

We are also very excited to reveal our new multimedia team! Last season we had photos and videos shared from fans and other YouTubers but this year, we have our own members to create original content. This is what you can expect to see this season from the multimedia team:

In the lot videos from our videographers

Podcasts

We will also continue to create 300% Faster videos and other humorous content so be on the look out for that!
